RETAIN is student-led. Our core team of University of California students understand that we represent the generation most affected by AI. We welcome students who are passionate about our cause, and want to help others as well.

Find a chapter at your school or local community center. Join weekly meetings discussing current news on AI, and gain insight on different avenues of advocacy and research.

Mentorship Program
Learn the basics.
- Mandatory 3-week training to become a RETAIN mentor and speak at events
- Topics: Current research on AI and cognition; best learning practices
- Given access to full RETAIN curriculum
- Assigned to regional area for mentorship opportunities
- Gain opportunity to become a RETAIN fellow by contributing to outreach, new projects, and collaboration events.
Fellowship Program
Deeper Involvement.
Must be a standing RETAIN mentor with active involvement in community.
Priority consideration given to those with strong interest or standout performance in mentorship program.
